MADISON (WKOW) -- Adopting a pet can be one of the most rewarding experiences. Right now, the Dane County Humane Society has 13 guinea pigs and other small animals that are looking for special homes.
Wake Up Wisconsin Weekend welcomed Gayle Viney and Mo the guinea pig from the DCHS.
The DCHS Haunted Wood Trail event will be going on in October. Money raised will benefit the DCHS's Four Lakes Wildlife Center to help care for the injured and orphaned wildlife animals that are receiving care in the humane society's wildlife rehab program.
The event will be at the DCHS at 5132 Voges Road in Madison. Admission is $8 for adults and $5 for kids 12 and under.
