Police search for 4 suspects in University Ave. assault

MADISON (WKOW) – Madison Police search for four male suspects after a person was kicked and hit several times early Saturday morning.

Police said the incident happened on the 600 block of University Avenue around 12:05 a.m.

According to the incident report, the victim was hit and kicked several times after the suspects made verbal contact with the victim.  Prior to the battery, the victim was attempting to flag down a cab.

Authorities said the victim was treated for injuries to the face.

Madison Police describe the four black male suspects as being approximately 20 years old. A  further description of the suspects is not available at this time.
