MADISON (WKOW) – An intoxicated male rider on a Madison Metro bus was arrested early Saturday morning after hitting a woman several times.
Madison Police said the incident occurred around 7:37 a.m. on HWY 12 and Seminole HWY.
According to the Madison incident report, Isaac M. Tillman was intoxicated and had several confrontations with passengers on a Madison Metro bus.
Authorities said a female passenger asked the bus driver how long they would be stopped after the bus came to a halt near Seminole HWY and HWY 12. Police said Tillman asked the female passenger, "if she wanted some of this?" and then hit her several times in the face.
Officials said other passengers on the bus held Tillman down until officers arrived.
Police said the female passenger was not injured and did not require medical assistance. The female victim told the police she was not acquainted with Tillman.
Authorities arrested Tillman for resisting, disorderly conduct and battery. Tillman has been taken to the Dane County Jail.
