Brookfield shooting suspect's father apologizes to community

MILWAUKEE (WKOW) -- The father of the Brookfield salon shooting suspect offers an apology for his son.

WISN, the ABC affiliate in Milwaukee, spoke with Radcliffe Haughton, Sr. on Sunday evening. He told reporters he lives in Florida and hasn't seen his son, Radcliffe Haughton, 45, in about a year.

Haughton, Sr.'s son is believe to have killed at least three people and injured four before turning the gun on himself at Azana Salon and Spa in Brookfield.

"All I can say is, I want to apologize to the people of Milwaukee who have been hurt and who have been put through this traumatic experience," says Haughton, Sr. "He's my second born. I love him very much."

Haughton went on to say his son had a 13-year-old daughter with his estranged wife. He did not have any insight into his son's state of mind in recent days.
