DARLINGTON (WKOW) -- Darlington police are asking for the public's help in solving a tailgate theft over the weekend.
The City of Darlington Police Department says it's believed the theft occurred sometime between Saturday night and Monday morning at Virtue Motors.
Officials say someone removed the tailgates from two separate trucks. They say the tailgates were both new and had drop-steps installed. One tailgate is red and the other is charcoal or gray.
Anyone with information about this theft should call the Darlington Police Department at 776-4981.
