Reflector lights available for children on Halloween


MADISON (WKOW) -- Madison firefighters is partnering with the Wisconsin Department of Transportation to keep trick-or-treaters safe on Halloween.

The DOT is providing 1,800 flashing reflector lights to help children be more visible to drivers. The lights will be distributed at seven Madison fire stations on Saturday between 8:30 and 11:30 a.m. Here is a list of the stations where you can pick one up:

Station #3 – 1217 Williamson St.

Station #5 – 4418 Cottage Grove Road

Station #6 – 825 West Badger Road

Station #7 – 1810 McKenna Blvd.

Station #8 – 3945 Lien Road

Station #9 – 201 N. Midvale Blvd.

Station #10 – 1517 Troy Drive

There is a limited supply of reflector lights, so there will be only one light per child and the child must be present to get one.
