Vice President makes stop in Oshkosh - WQOW TV: Eau Claire, WI NEWS18 News, Weather, and Sports

(ABC) (AP) - With less than two weeks to go before the election, candidates are hitting the
campaign trail hard and targeting the all important battleground states.

Vice President Joe Biden was in Oshkosh Friday morning where he spoke to supporters at UW-Oshkosh.

Biden started by reminding the crowd to get our and early vote.

He later said Mitt Romney's plan are "etch a sketchy" and attacked the GOP candidate for voting to extend tax cuts to the wealthy.

The vice president is also expected to attend an afternoon event in Kenosha, Wisconsin.

Republican Mitt Romney is scheduled to make a campaign stop in southeastern Wisconsin next week.

His campaign says the former Massachusetts governor will appear at a rally at the Wisconsin Products Pavilion, in the Milwaukee suburb of West Allis. Doors open at 5 p.m. and the program begins at 7 p.m.

Polls show the presidential race is locked in a dead heat in Wisconsin, and both campaigns are fighting hard for Wisconsin's 10 electoral votes.

President Barack Obama is scheduled to be in Green Bay next week, the day after Romney's visit. And the following day GOP vice presidential candidate Paul Ryan is planning to return to his home state.
