WHITEWATER (WKOW) -- An anonymous donor has provided a $500 reward in the case of the beating of the son of a state senator in Whitewater.
Whitewater police officials say the reward is for information leading to an arrest.
Sean Kedzie tells 27 News two men choked and punched him, after a confrontation on his front lawn over the theft of a Romney-Ryan political yard sign. Kedzie is the son of Sen. Neal Kedzie (R-Elkhorn).
27 News reported Thursday sources close to the investigation confirmed a 22-year-old UW-Whitewater student-athlete has been questioned by police in connection with the attack.
The student has yet to respond to requests from 27 News for comment. Whitewater Police Lieutenant Tim Gray declines to identify who has been interviewed during the investigation.
