MADISON (WKOW) -- Madison police are investigating a shots fired incident on the city's north side.
Police say they were called to the 1100 block of MacArthur Road Monday morning after someone fired three shots into the air.
Officials say the shooter was in a parking lot next to an apartment building and was yelling. Police later located a 19-year-old man inside one of the apartments with a head injury. He was reluctant to speak initially, but then indicated he was hit in the head with a pistol from a man he has purchased marijuana from in the past.
