Josh Gasser To Miss Junior Season At UW

Madison (WQOW) -- Shortly after Josh Gasser was named Wisconsin's starting point guard, he tore his ACL at Saturday's practice, and will miss the season.

"I pretty much worked my tail off to get to that position and coach Ryan rewarded me with it," Gasser says, "so it happened. I think the biggest thing is I built such great relationships with the seniors. Jared, Mike, Ryan. On and off the court. Especially on. I was really excited to play with them because this is their last go-around and not to be out there with them is just killing me."

Gasser says he'll handle this year like a one-year coaching internship.
