Menomonie (WQOW) - Two businesses plus one deserving school equals money in the bank to boost middle school math.

On Wednesday, RCU presented the latest $300 Tools for Schools award to Mrs. Creviston's classroom in Menomonie.  RCU teams up with WQOW News 18 to select one recipient a month for a tools for schools grant.  Mrs. Creviston applied, saying she'd use the money to add flashcards, calculators and games for math.  The middle school is a Title 1 school, which means it provides additional support to help students.

"I get excited when they go, 'Oh, I get it.'  That makes everything worth it when they can say that and then I know we can go to the next step and pretty soon, they'll be where they need to be to be successful," said Menomonie Middle School Teacher Liz Creviston.
