Science experiment gone wrong

EVANSVILLE, IN (WKOW)-- Hope your pumpkin carving didn't turn out like this!

Jason Lindsey, known as the "Hooked on Science Guy", was trying to show how you can use a small explosion to carve a pumpkin. He pre-cut the eyes, nose, and mouth of the pumpkin and filled it with a chemical formula.

Once the gas built up inside, he ignited it with a laughter, and the pieces were supposed to pop out. He apparently filled it with too much gas. And.... it exploded. No one was hurt.
