Suspect arrested on 14 counts of possession of child pornography

BELOIT (WKOW) -- Rock County Sheriff's detectives began an investigation into a subject downloading child pornographer files over the internet.  Through the course of the investigation, Anthony J. Sibley, of the City of Beloit, was identified as the suspect.

A search warrant was executed October 23rd at Sibley's address.  Several items were seized, believed to have been used to store or facilitate the downloading and/or sharing of child pornography files over the internet.  A brief forensic search did, in fact, show evidence of such files.

Anthony Sibley was arrested October 31st on 14 counts of possession of child pornography.  Sibley was scheduled to be in court this afternoon.

The investigation continues as the Wisconsin State Crime Lab still needs to process some items.
