Rice Lake (WQOW) - Pat Kreitlow was busy today making
several campaign stops ahead of election night.
The democratic candidate for the 7th
congressional district made a visit to Rice Lake
this afternoon. He thanked his supporters and took questions before the group
headed out on their final get-out-the-vote event.
"The voters are
looking for someone who is going to work hard for them, and not play the usual
games and gridlock out in Washington.
They're clearly very dissatisfied with this Congress, it has the lowest
approval rating ever. A lot of people say "Well I don't like Congress, but
I like my congressman. I think you've seen poll numbers here that indicate they
do want to make a change in their congressman," Kreitlow said.
Kreitlow's opponent, incumbent
congressman Sean Duffy, was also on the campaign trail today. Congressman Duffy had stops in Hayward, Spooner and Wausau.
