Polk County (Press Release) - Ryan Olson will be released from prison on 11/13/12 and will be returning back into the community and placed on supervision administered by the Wisconsin Department of Corrections.
Olson has been convicted of numerous crimes. On 7/2/03 he was convicted of injury by negligent use of a weapon, 4th degree sexual assault and misdemeanor bail jumping. Each of those convictions was based on separate incidents.
On 4/26/05, Olson was convicted of repeated 2nd degree sexual assault - same child. In this case, Olson who was 19 at the time, entered into a sexual relationship with a 14-year-old female. The two had sexual contact several times between April and May of 2004.
On 10/13/10, Olson was convicted of felony bail jumping, criminal damage to property and possession of meth.
On November 13, 2012, Olson will be released back to Polk County which was his county of residence at the time of his conviction. He will be residing with relatives in the Town of Apple River. He is to be supervised by agents from the Wisconsin Department of Corrections - Probation and Parole Office in Balsam Lake, 715-485-3114. Olson will also be monitored by the DOC's Electronic Monitoring Program. Olson will be on supervision with the DOC until August 8, 2017.
Upon release, Olson is required to be a lifetime registrant with the Wisconsin Sex Offender Registry. The Wisconsin Sex Offender Registry can be found at www.widocoffenders.org
