JANESVILLE (WKOW) -- Wisconsin Congressman Paul Ryan has
been elected to the U.S. House in District 1 again.
The Janesville native and vice presidential candidate
defeated Democrat Rob Zerban and Libertarian Keith Deschler. Ryan has held that
seat since 1998.
The presidential election still has not been called. If
Republican Mitt Romney wins, Ryan would resign from Congress and there would be
a special election to fill his seat.
Ryan is also the chairman of the House Budget
Committee.
