BOSTON (WKOW) -- Paul Ryan says he is returning to Congress.
The Republican vice presidential nominee said Wednesday that he will be seated when the new House convenes in January.
But first, he says he's looking forward to spending some time with his family before resuming his responsibilities as House Budget Committee chairman.
Ryan was re-elected to his House seat from Wisconsin the same night that he and Mitt Romney came up short in their bid to unseat President Barack Obama and Vice President Joe Biden. Ryan defeated Democrat Rob Zerban in Wisconsin District 1 Congressional race 55 to 43.
