Area man gets prison time for making meth


Eau Claire (WQOW) - An area man convicted of making methamphetamine is going to prison.

Drug investigators found a meth lab at Jona Hampson's rural Thorp home last August. He has now been sentenced to 3.5 years in prison.

Hampson recently completed a jail sentence for his involvement in a string of area burglaries of a Stanley church and some sporting shops.
