Eau Claire (WQOW) - The Toys for Tots drive has begun.

The familiar white and red boxes will be out until December 7th to take your donations. Toys will then be collected, and handed out to area families in need in time for Christmas. There is a growing need for donations, The Salvation Army is anticipating 700 families will apply for the program this year.

If you would like to donate, you can drop off unwrapped toys at the WQOW News 18 station on Highway 93 in Eau Claire, at any Gordy's County Market or these locations:
