Cadott School District moving forward with building plans

Cadott (WQOW) - An area school district is moving forward with building plans, after a referendum was approved by voters Tuesday night.

The Cadott School District was asking voters for just over $9 million to make repairs to their elementary school. The district says it's outdated and unsafe, and some students actually have to walk through other classrooms to get to their classrooms. The district administrator says they're happy the community passed the referendum, and he's excited for the kids' future. He says they have an architectural firm already chosen, and now they need to develop conceptual plans with staff. The school hopes to start construction in the spring.
