MADISON (WKOW) -- The Salvation Army kicks off its Red Kettle campaign in Madison this week.
Major Loren Carter, the Dane County coordinator for the Salvation Army, says the campaign begins Friday, November 16 at various locations in Dane County. The goal is to raise $700,000 by December 24.
WKOW employees and personalities will be ringing bells in December.
The Salvation Army will be at the following locations signing up volunteers to ring bells:
Tuesday, November 13: Copps at 3650 University Avenue in Madison from 9 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
Wednesday, November 14: Copps at 620 South Whitney Way in Madison from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Thursday, November 15: East Towne Mall in Madison from 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
