Chippewa Falls (WQOW) - A woman suspected of playing a role in the theft of thousands of dollars from a local church has now been arrested.
Police picked up Elizabeth Linden on Friday. They had been looking for the Chippewa Falls woman ever since charges were filed two weeks ago.
Linden is accused of helping Kurt Meyer burglarize St. Charles Church in Chippewa Falls in 2010. The entire Christmas weekend collection was stolen, totaling more than $30,000 in cash and checks.
Meyer was recently sentenced to more than a year in prison. As part of a plea bargain he agreed to cooperate with police resulting in the charges against Linden. She will be in court Tuesday.
