Eau Claire (WQOW) - A man accused of threatening to jump off an Eau Claire bridge will spend a year on probation.
Justin Woody must also get any treatment that his probation agent feels is necessary. Back in March police were called to the railroad footbridge near Phoenix Park because Woody's friend was threatening to jump.
Officers say when they arrived Woody went to the nearby Madison Street Bridge, straddled the railing, and also threatened to jump. Police say he was trying to draw their attention away from his friend. Woody was eventually caught and arrested. His friend was taken for a mental health evaluation.
