Eau Claire (WQOW) - On Monday there was another public meeting about the Confluence Project, an $85 million development in downtown Eau Claire.
Monday's meeting was an Eau Claire City Council Public Hearing about rezoning and the general development plan. The project is a mix of student housing, an arts center and retail space. Four project representatives gave a presentation and answered questions from council members. Citizens also weighed in.
One thing council members questioned is the impact on parking. Developers said they turned in a traffic impact analysis Monday that the council hasn't seen yet. Council members could vote on the rezoning and general development plan Tuesday.
