Chippewa Falls (WQOW)- A restaurant, its customers, and local law enforcement officers will make a lot of children happy this Christmas.
Chippewa Family Restaurant is once again donating all of its proceeds for the day to Jason's Presents, a program that provides gifts to families that cannot afford them during the holidays. On Monday, law enforcement, fire, and EMS officials were helping out around the restaurant.
Jason's Presents was named after Deputy Jason Zunker, who was working on the project before being killed in the line of duty. On Monday, the restaurant raised more than $12,000, which will help buy gifts for about 250 kids.
