Madison (WKOW) - Another group is suing the state
over Act 10. The Wisconsin Law Enforcement Association is challenging the law's
constitutionality.
The group represents Wisconsin State Patrol Troopers, UW
Police Officers and Wisconsin State Capitol Police.
Its lawsuit is similar to
the action brought by Madison teachers and Milwaukee city workers. A
judge in that case overturned major portions of the law that affect school
employees and local government workers, but not state employees like members of
the WLEA.
Attorney General J.B. Van Hollen has appealed that ruling.
