MADISON (WKOW) -- Four teenagers are arrested after Madison police confiscated a loaded handgun from the glove compartment of a vehicle.
Police say the incident happened Tuesday afternoon, as the teens pulled into a parking lot on E. Washington Avenue.
Officials say the young men are believed to have been looking to retaliate against another group of teens for an earlier battery. Some of the people in both groups are members of rival gangs.
Police say all four teens, ages 14 to 16, were taken to the Juvenile Reception Center on tentative charges of disorderly conduct.
