Eau Claire (WQOW) - If you've been calling for more competition at the pump, you probably liked what you saw on Wednesday.

Kwik Trip lowered its prices by a nickel in Eau Claire. That is significant because on Monday, the retailer bumped the price of unleaded from $3.39 to $3.44. Something unusual happened after that, as in nothing happened. No one else in Eau Claire raised their rates. Typically, one retailer will raise or lower prices and then everyone else follows, but not this time.
