Barron County (WQOW) - A plea bargain is reached with a Barron County man accused of tricking an teenaged employee into exposing himself.
Robert Benson allegedly asked a new employee at the Country Store in Cumberland to take a drug test. Instead of sending him to a hospital for the test, the boy said Benson followed him into a bathroom and said he was required to observe him.
The boy was 16 at the time, Benson was 52. Several other employees told investigators that Benson had also touched the boy inappropriately.
In a plea bargain reached Tuesday, the felony charge was reduced to misdemeanor disorderly conduct. Benson was put on probation for two years.
