Drivers cited for driving around barricades in St. Croix County

St. Croix County (WQOW) - Nearly two dozen citations are given out to drivers who decided to bypass construction barriers in St. Croix County.

We first told you about this story back in July. Drivers were moving or going around construction barricades that had been put up in Roberts along Highway 65. The St. Croix County sheriff's department says 19 tickets or warnings were issued during construction, which wrapped up last week. The DOT was adding roundabouts and resurfacing the road, the entire project cost about $7 million.
