MADISON (WKOW) -- Countless high school athletes signed their letters of intent Wednesday to continue playing their sport at the college level.
Here in the Madison area, Sun Prairie basketball standout Nick Fuller made it official: He's headed to Nebraska.
The Cardinals senior forward gave a verbal commitment to the Cornhuskers back in August but on Wednesday he signed on the dotted line.
Fuller turned down offers from Marquette and UW-Milwaukee, among other schools. Fuller was not recruited by Wisconsin but he says he has no hard feelings toward the UW program.
"No, not at all. Wisconsin has its recruits and Coach Miles and Nebraska are a great fit for me. I love where I'm going. It's just an overall great fit and I love it," Fuller said. "It's a rebuilding process and [Miles] wanted me to be a part of it. He invested in me and I told him I wanted to be a part of it and make a difference there."
The 6'6" forward was named Big Eight conference player of the year in the 2011-12 season. He averaged 23.5 points and 8.2 rebounds per game in his junior year.
