New Richmond (WQOW) - A teenaged sex offender is released to live in a western Wisconsin city.
New Richmond police say Bryton Kraft is now living with his grandparents on Brigetta Drive. Kraft is 16-years old. Earlier this year he was convicted of attempting to rape an employee at a group home for sex offenders in California.
Police say he's considered a high risk to commit future assaults. Officials will be on hand to answer questions at a community meeting set for November 27th at the New Richmond Civic Center. The meeting starts at 6:30 PM.
