RACINE (WKOW) -- A college student is accused of sexually assaulting and videotaping children in Racine County.
According to WISN in Milwaukee, Alexander Richter was originally accused of repeatedly sexually assaulted two children. Now, he's been charged in the assaults of four more children.
The Gateway Technical College student is charged with 23 new counts of sexual assault of a child, sexual exploitation of a child - filming, and possession of child pornography. That brings the total number of charges to 49.
Last week, police found videos and a DVD slide show with images of the 28-year-old assaulting the children. According to the Racine Journal Times, one DVD was called "Monster Unleashed." The newspaper says Richter's bond was set at $1 million Thursday.
Racine police are looking into whether Richter may have sexually assaulted children in other cities. Police Chief Art Howell told WISN, "We are concerned that there are multiple victims in potentially multiple areas and multiple cities."
Racine police want anyone whose child might have had contact with Richter, to call them immediately. They say Richter would offer to babysit for fellow college students.
