MILTON (WKOW) -- A Milton fast food restaurant is closed for now, after a customer accidentally drove through part of the building.

Milton police say the accident happened around 3:45 p.m. on Sunday at the Burger King on St. Mary Street.

Police say the driver was trying to park but accelerated too quickly, causing the vehicle to jump the curb and hit the restaurant.

No one was hurt, but the restaurant will be closed until the structure's damage can be examined.
