WAUSAU (WAOW) - The Medical College of Wisconsin plans to locate in Wausau. Students will also learn and train at field sites in Marshfield and Stevens Point, as well as possibly Wisconsin Rapids.

Developers plan to put classrooms and offices in two buildings in Wausau, according to the press release. Medical College of Wisconsin plans to begin negotiations for the Liberty Mutual Building #1.

They also plan to use space at the University of Wisconsin Marathon County, in addition to the Liberty Mutual building, for student services and support, according to the press release.

The Medical College of Wisconsin also plans to work with the Northcentral Technical College in Wausau to negotiate use of the laboratories and clinical simulation center.
