Barron County (Press Release) - During the morning hours of Saturday, November 17, 2012, the Barron County Sheriff's Department and Wisconsin State Patrol handled several accidents due to slick road conditions. One accident had serious injuries.
Below is a list and details of these accidents:
At 6:20 a.m. Barron County handled a vehicle in the ditch on Hwy 48 near 13 ½ Street involving a Danielle Latvala, 21, of Cumberland. She was not injured but stuck several tractors for sale on the property.
At 7:30 a.m. Barron County handled a one vehicle rollover on Hwy 63 at 16th Avenue involving a Kristin Wellens-Hoffman, 63, of Turtle Lake. She was not injured.
At 7:45 a.m. Barron County handled a vehicle in the ditch on Hwy 63 near 16th Avenue involving a Mary Jones, 45, of Elmwood. Mary hit some trees but was not injured.
At 7:50 a.m. the Wisconsin State Patrol handled a one vehicle rollover on 28th St at 7th Avenue with no injuries.
At 7:54 a.m. Barron County handled a one vehicle rollover on Hwy 8 at 3rd Street involving a Marguerite Fisher, 63, of New Auburn. She was not injured.
At 8:30 a.m. Barron County handled a one vehicle rollover on Hwy 63 near 16th Avenue involving an Elizabeth Hanson, 69, of Cumberland. Elizabeth was ejected from the vehicle and flown by Life Link to an unknown hospital with serious injuries.
At 9:03a.m. Barron County assisted the Turtle Lake Police Department with a rollover on Hwy 8 in the Village of Turtle Lake with no injuries.
