MADISON (WKOW) -- Police say a 59-year-old Madison Metro bus driver was punched in the face Saturday night after asking to see a young man's ID card.
Madison police say the teen tried to board the bus using his student pass. He and wo of his friends began yelling at the driver, saying they didn't need to have an identification card.
Officials say the driver told the teens he was going to radio for police to come to the location on Aberg Avenue. As he did, one of the teens punched him in the face. After the punch, the three teens ran away.
Police say the suspect is black male, about 15-18 years old, 5'5-5'8, and 150-200 pounds, with a stocky build. He was last seen wearing a white hoodie and dark colored pants.
