TOWN OF YORK (WKOW) -- Dane County Sheriff's say they, along with Marshall police, fire and EMS, responded to a one-vehicle accident on Highway 73 in the Town of York around noon Monday.
Officials say the driver was the sole occupant of a 2000 Dodge pick-up truck and was traveling north, when he went off the road near Clarkson Road. The vehicle went over a culvert and then hit a tree, seriously injuring the 74-year-old Beloit man.
Authorities say was transported to UW Hospital by Med Flight. Due to the seriousness of his injuries, his name is being withheld pending further information on his condition.
Sheriff's deputies continue to investigate the cause of the crash.
