MADISON (WKOW) -- Madison police say shortly before 2:30 a.m.Tuesday morning, a 16-year-old girl was robbed.
Officials say the Sun Prairie girl was waiting on the sidewalk in the 1600 block of Fordem Avenue for her father to pick her up. She told police a Hispanic man parked his vehicle in the adjacent lot, got out and approached her. He grabbed her cell phone and then hit her in the face. He then pointed a handgun at her and told her to run, which she did.
Police sa the teen described the suspect as being 5'8" with a medium build. He has short black hair and was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and blue jeans.
