MADISON (WKOW) -- Several Madison Police Department officers set up a perimeter outside of a home on Trafalger Place Monday afternoon after a citizen called in a burglary in progress.
The citizen stated a young man was entering the targeted house through an unlocked door.
The house was cleared at gunpoint, but no suspect was immediately found; however, the investigation did lead to an arrest.
Video games were taken during the crime and were recovered from a home on O'Brien Court, and a resident was apprehended.
That person, a 9-year-old boy, was released to a parent after being tentatively charged with burglary.
