UW women's bball falls to Washington 60-55


MADISON (WKOW) – Seven lead changes and the final did not go in favor of the Badgers as the Wisconsin women's basketball team dropped a 60-55 decision to Washington Wednesday night at the Kohl Center. The loss drops the Badgers to 2-2, while the Huskies improve to 3-1. 

Three Badgers, Taylor Wurtz, Morgan Paige and AnnMarie Brown, scored in double digits, each with 11 points. Washington was led by Jazmine Davis with 22 points. Aminah Williams had a team-high 13 rebounds.Wisconsin returns to the Kohl Center on Sunday at 2 p.m. to host Evansville.
