MADISON (WKOW) -- It's Black Friday and retailers begin to make a profit by offering up bargains to die-hard shoppers.
Wake Up Wisconsin's Katie Priebe headed out to West Towne Mall about 2:00 a.m. on Friday to check out traffic concerns and what shoppers were up to.
Some shoppers say the lines were long, but the deals were worth it. Some shoppers were concerned overnight about the traffic in the parking lots. Some people say they had a hard time finding parking spots in the early morning hours on Friday.
Traffic was smooth for the morning commute and for those heading out to shop during the 6 o'clock hour of Wake Up Wisconsin. There were not as many cars and shoppers out.
