Wisconsin (WQOW) - Wolf hunters are getting closer to reaching the quota for this year's hunt and it's coming much sooner than expected.
Hunters have now taken 98 wolves in the state's first wolf hunt. That leaves only 18 that can be killed before the quota is reached. Two of the six hunting zones are already closed and several others are very close to hitting their limits.
The season was originally set to go through February.
