Eau Claire (WQOW) - The suspect in the murder of an Eau Claire man whose body was not found for two months returned to court Wednesday.
Larry Fernandez of Ladysmith entered pleas of not guilty to first degree murder and hiding a corpse.
Fernandez is accused in the strangulation death of Frederick Brian Harvey during a dispute over money.
Harvey disappeared in August. Police say Fernandez led them to Harvey's makeshift grave in Rusk County last month. But Fernandez has claimed that another man who told police he witnessed the murder was the actual killer.
Fernandez will return to court in January.
