MADISON (WKOW) -- The Badgers and Huskers are busy preparing for an epic rematch Saturday in the 2012 Big Ten Championship.
A lot will be on the line for Wisconsin. If the Badgers can pull out a win in Saturday's game against the Nebraska Cornhuskers, it means another trip to the Rose Bowl for Wisconsin.
According to UW-Badgers.com, Wisconsin has never won three straight Big Ten championships nor advanced to the Rose Bowl three years in a row. The last Big Ten team to make three straight trips to the Rose Bowl was Michigan in 1977-1979.
This week the starting quarterback will be Curt Phillips. He will make his fourth career start in the Big Ten Championship game. Phillips says on Twitter, "We've been in all of these games, we just have to find a way to finish them."
If you're a Badger fan and heading to Indianapolis for the game there will be game day celebrations at the Wisconsin Football Kickoff Party. This event will be at the Indiana Convention Center, across the street from the stadium in downtown Indianapolis.
The Badgers will face Nebraska around 7:15 p.m. CT in Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis.
