Parked vehicles spray painted with gang insignia

MADISON (WKOW) -- Madison Police were called to the 2100 block of S. Park Street early Tuesday morning by a passerby who reported seeing 2 males spray painting vehicles.

Officers discovered 2 vans and a truck had been tagged with gang insignia.

Similar black writing on two buildings had been found as well.  One in the 2100 block of S. Park and the other in the 2000 block of S. Park.

The suspects were dressed in dark clothing and were seen running west toward Dane Street.

Anyone with information on the vandalism is asked to call the MPD's South District at 266-5938 or Madison Area Crime Stoppers at 266-6014.
