MADISON (WKOW) -- Governor Scott Walker will join a group of governors meeting with President Obama on Tuesday.
The discussion will include possible solutions to the looming so-called "fiscal-cliff" and issues that face the state. Walker announced he would be in attendance Friday.
According to the National Governors Association website, Walker is one of seven governors on the executive committee in addition to NGA Chair Delaware Governor Jack Markell and Vice Chair Oklahoma Governor Mary Fallen. Walker says those invited are on the executive committee.
Obama has been discussing ways to avoid tax increases that automatically take effect in January with House Republicans but no deal has been reached.
