MADISON (WKOW) – The Dane County Sheriff's Office arrested a Fitchburg man for his 6th OWI offense early Saturday morning.
Authorities identified the driver as 34-year-old Jesse C. Jones.
A Dane County Sheriff's Office deputy initiated a traffic stop around 2:12 a.m. after observing an erratic driver, Jones, crossing the center line northbound on County Highway N near the intersection of Koshkonong road in the Town of Pleasant Springs.
Officials said Jones refused field sobriety tests. Jones was then arrested for operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of an intoxicant- 6th offense.
Authorities booked Jones into the Dane County Jail on the felony OWI charge.
