Eau Claire (WQOW) - Another
wolf hunt zone has reached its quota.
Zone one, in far northern Wisconsin, will be
closing tomorrow. The DNR says the last wolf in the allowable quota was
harvested Saturday. There are two other zones that remain closed, after their
quota was also reached. The DNR is allowing 116 wolves to be harvested this
inaugural season. The agency says 102 have been harvested so far this year.
They're
encouraging wolf hunters to check the DNR's website for zone closures and for
an update on the harvest. Click here to head to their website.
