Press Release from the Chippewa County Sheriff's Department: On 12-01-12 at 1049 AM the Chippewa County
sheriffs Dept. was advised of a one vehicle injury crash which had occurred on
STH 64 just east of STH 27. It appears from evidence at the scene and witnesses
that the Vehicle was W/B on STH 64 when the driver, Paul Schwab of Cornell,
failed to negotiate a slight curve in the roadway. The vehicle crossed over the
center line and went off the south side of the roadway and overturned.
Schwab, the
lone occupant and operator of the vehicle was extricated, suffered injuries and
was transported to St Joseph hospital in Chippewa Falls.
Schwab was
also arrested for Operating under the influence 6th offense.
